You have the awards. You are capable of taking on the burden that comes with the world. But how's your soul? After all your success, what's left? Is the pay bump from the promotion really worth all you put into earning it? Is the boost in sales ultimately helping you hear "well done?"

It is time for you to redefine success. You need a definition that aligns more with who you were created to be — based on who you are in God's eyes, not who you've become from your own vision.

In the grand scope of things, relevancy is key. You need more than direction. You need to be headed in the right direction. I find that the hardest thing for the accomplished Black man is to simply be real with himself.

These next six questions are designed to give you the opportunity to be real with yourself. The first is rhetorical. If you want the true answer, take the time to answer the next five honestly.
